Vision
The Institute of Industrial Robotics and Automation aims to develop innovative technology in intelligent robotics which integrates human intelligence into industrial robots. Conventional industrial robots can only work repetitively. When there is a change in the work piece and/or environment, they will fail and moreover cause damage to the work piece and/or production system. We will fuse the sensor information into the robotic system to make industrial robots as “smart” as a human operator such that they can work on a production line intelligently. 

Mission
We will provide high efficiency and reliable intelligent industrial robot systems to satisfy the market demand to new products including short product cycle time, higher and higher precision and small batch production etc. We aims to provide intelligent solutions in automotive, assembly, polishing, casting, metal processing, plastic, packaging, palletizing, solar industry, furniture industry, electrical and electronic equipment manufacturing etc.
